This 1969 Toyota Land Cruiser is finished in red and powered by a 3.9-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed manual gearbox and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment consists of a winch, an aftermarket carburetor, vinyl and cloth seat upholstery, turbine wheels with all-terrain tires, and auxiliary lighting. The truck was acquired by the seller five years ago, and subsequent work included replacement of the barn doors and sections of the rear quarter panels as well as a partial repaint.
Work carried out under current ownership included welding new sheet metal into the rear quarter panels, replacing the lower rear barn doors, and repainting the rear lower surfaces. The seller notes bubbling on the edges of both front fenders as well as scuffs and scratches around the body. Rust is also described around the faded white roof on the removable hardtop.
Aftermarket turbine wheels are mounted with Goodyear Wrangler mud-terrain tires. The steel front bumper features a winch, a roller fairlead, auxiliary lights, and recovery points.
The cabin is fitted with split bench seats upholstered in gray cloth and black vinyl. Amenities include crank windows, upper and lower dash pads, and a heater.
A factory three-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes a 100-mph speedometer along with gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, fuel level, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 2k miles.
The 3.9-liter F145 inline-six breathes through an aftermarket carburetor, and drives the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
