Originally finished in Tuxedo Black (10), the car was reportedly refurbished under previous ownership with work including a bare-metal repaint in black urethane, installing a replacement windshield, and re-chroming the bumpers and trim. Features consist of a black vinyl top and tinted windows as well as SS and 427 badging.
The 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with 235/70 BFGoodrich Redline tires. The car is optioned with F41 suspension, which includes heavy-duty springs, a Panhard bar, a larger front sway bar, and a rear sway bar. The cabin features black vinyl upholstery on front and rear bench seats, with a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panels. The interior was reportedly refurbished under previous ownership with installation of replacement seat covers, floor insulation, and carpets.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,500rpm redline, and a fuel gauge. Aftermarket gauges for temperature and oil pressure have been added below the radio. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 62k miles.
The L36 427ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt and was factory rated at 390 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The RPO code Z24 engine featured a Quadrajet carburetor, 10.25:1 compression ratio, forged connecting rods, and chrome air cleaner. Modifications include ceramic-coated Hooker headers and a dual exhaust system. The factory radiator is said to have been re-cored.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Turbo-400 three-speed automatic transmission and a positraction 12-bolt rear axle with 2.73:1 gearing. It is reported that the fuel tank and sending unit were replaced as part of the refurbishment.
The window sticker lists delivery to Nalley Chevrolet of Atlanta Georgia as well as colors, equipment, and a total price of $4,141.
