Slotted 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome beauty rings as well as Chevrolet hubcaps and are mounted with 235/60 front and 255/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dash, headliner, door panels, and carpet. Additional interior appointments include air conditioning, vent windows, lap belts, manual windows, a lockable glovebox, and Chevelle-branded floor mats.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, a column-mounted tachometer, and an analog clock. A gauge pod with readouts for oil pressure, water temperature, and voltage is mounted below the dash. The five-digit odometer indicates 46k miles.
The replacement 396ci V8 has been modified with cast manifolds, a custom dual exhaust system, MSD Ignition and spark plug wires, a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock performer intake manifold, and chrome valve covers.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed Tremec manual transmission.
