This 1991 BMW 850i is finished in Brilliant Red over Silver Gray leather and powered by a 5.0-liter V12 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 18″ M-Parallel wheels, a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, a CD stereo, and a Wokke Performance ECU chip. The car was first registered in Florida and was acquired by the seller in 2020. Subsequent service consisted of replacing the front control arms, rear ball joints, tie rod ends, brake pads and rotors, ignition cap and rotor, fan clutch, power steering lines, fuel filters, and performing an oil change.
The car is reportedly one of the 273 North American-market examples finished in Brilliant Red (308) for the model year and features a sunroof, pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, body-color mirror caps, and quad exhaust outlets. The Carfax report notes that damage occurred to the front end in February 2003.
18″ M-Parallel wheels have been added and are wrapped in Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 tires. Under the seller’s ownership, the front control arms, tie rod ends, rear ball joints, and sway bar end links were replaced. The brake rotors and pads were also replaced by the seller, and a fluid flush was carried out.
The cabin features light Silver-Gray Nappa leather upholstery (0353) with dark gray trim on the seatbacks, console, and dashboard. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats that were previously reupholstered, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a factory cassette stereo paired with a trunk-mounted CD changer.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 190-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 108k miles.
The 5.0-liter V12 was rated at 296 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque when new. A Wokke Performance ECU chip is reportedly installed, and work carried out under the seller’s ownership consisted of replacing the ignition caps and rotors, fan clutch, power steering lines and fluid, fuel filters, and performing an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
Owner’s manuals are included in the sale, along with a selection of service records.
