This 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a Canadian-market example equipped with the Commemorative Edition Z16 package, which celebrated back-to-back class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the final year of production for the fifth-generation Corvette. The car was first registered in Ontario, Canada, and was subsequently imported to the US and acquired by the seller in New York, who relocated it to North Carolina. Finished in Le Mans Blue with unique stripes over black leather, the car is powered by a 5.7-liter LS6 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a carbon fiber hood, a titanium exhaust system, polished wheels, a head-up display, automatic climate control, and Bose speakers. A total of of 2,025 Commemorative Edition Z06 models were produced, all finished in Le Mans Blue (19U) with a carbon-fiber hood, commemorative front and rear emblems, and silver and red decal stripes on the hood, roof, and deck lid. Additional factory weight-saving features included a titanium exhaust system, thinner glass, and lightweight wheels. The radio antenna is included in the sale.
Polished 17″ and 18″ wheels with commemorative center caps are wrapped in 265/40 front and 295/35 rear Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires. Red-painted calipers are mounted at all four corners, and the car is equipped with an active handling and traction control system.
The interior is trimmed in black leather with matching carpets and trim. Features include power-adjustable seats with driver position memory settings, a head-up display, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a factory CD stereo with Bose audio.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 300-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 17k kilometers (10,500 miles), fewer than 100 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 5.7-liter LS6 V8 was factory rated at 405 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, and this example is equipped with an engine block heater. The oil and filter were changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a 3.42:1 limited-slip differential.
The build sheet lists factory equipment, the Z49 RPO code indicating a Canadian-market model, and shows initial delivery to Tom Smith Chevrolet Oldsmobile of Midland, Ontario.
